女兒逕自走到了旁邊充滿花圈與鮮花的美國陣亡士兵紀念碑，仰臉面對與凝視著美麗飄揚的國旗，她以小右手按住心唸道，“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
那位爸爸超級驚訝地說道，“妳唸什麼？……God, liberty, justice？”；說完後，那位爸爸十分激動與流淚地握著女兒的小手說，“Freedom is not free！I love American so much!”
