螢火蟲提出了意見，“在金文裡，‘法’就是指‘逐水草而居的規律’，就是指‘因時因地因情況而調整的生存原則’；在專制的文化裡，‘法’就是指‘統治者因統治的需要，隨時對被統治者所制定的規定與準則’，因此‘統治者所下的命令就是法律’，因此‘統治者可以任意與隨時改變其命令’，不是嗎？”
“在 ‘漢文化、漢文字、漢語言’裡，‘法’根本就沒有‘All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness’、‘People have the right to establish a Constitution’、‘All Power Comes from the People’、‘Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed’、‘ That all power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people; that magistrates are their trustees and servants, and at all times amenable to them’、‘That all power of suspending laws, or the execution of laws, by any authority without consent of the representatives of the people is injurious to their rights and ought not to be exercised’、‘Limited Government’、‘The People are the Masters and the Government is the Servant’等價值理念內涵，不是嗎？”
“在 ‘漢文化、漢文字、漢語言’裡，‘法’根本就沒有基督文明裡的‘Absolute moral, Absolute truth, Absolute beauty, Absolute good, Absolute justice, Individualism, Liberalism, Love(Love your neighbor as yourself, Love your enemy as yourself), Justice, Freeman, Self-dignity, Self-control, Self-government, Self-responsibility, Self-protection, Self-defense, Self-directed morals, Self-enforced orientation’、‘Spirit of Liberty and Justice’與《十誡》等價值理念內涵，不是嗎？”
“在 ‘漢文化、漢文字、漢語言’裡，根本沒有任何可以理解上述所有價值理念的可能文化基因；‘漢文化、漢文字、漢語言’，根本就是上述所有價值理念的絕緣體與異化體，因此漢文化裡所謂的‘法律’ 、‘法治’與‘法制’， 一直就是‘統治者的自由意志與自由心證’，一直就是‘統治者說了算’，一直就是‘掌權力者的統治工具’，一直就是‘Anti-Rule of Law’，不是嗎？”
