獅子對老鷹說，「真奇怪！竟然有人將『人類靈性與精神文明的黃金時代』，稱為『黑暗的中世紀』；他們竟然不知道，沒有耶穌基督，怎麼會有中世紀的基督教修會？沒有中世紀的基督教修會，怎麼會有中世紀大學的興起？沒有中世紀大學的興起，怎麼會有後來的『文藝復興、啟蒙運動、宗教改革與工業革命』？」

老鷹對獅子說，「真奇怪！竟然有人將『反耶穌基督之愛』的『十字軍殺戮與宗教裁判所』，歸罪為耶穌基督，難道他們沒有讀過《聖經》的《1 Corinthians 13:1-13》嗎？」

「真奇怪！竟然有人將現代的『Democracy與Liberty』文化，歸功於專門搞『寡頭政治與奴隸制度』的『希臘文化』，難道他們不知道，沒有耶穌愛的福音與十誡道德理念，怎麼會有後來的『Self-control』、『Self-government』、『Individualism』、『Liberalism』、『All man are created equal』、『All power belongs to the people』、『Every woman, man, youth and child has the human right to a life in dignity』、『Everyone has the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness』、『Love your neighbor as yourself』、『Love for enemies』、『Separation of the three powers: administrative, legislative and judicial』等理念？怎麼會有後來的『Democracy與Liberty』文明？」
