在九一八瀋陽事變後，螢火蟲問張學良，“你為啥要調30萬的東北軍入山海關參加所謂的中原大戰？你為啥要聽蔣介石的不抵抗政策？你為啥要犧牲東北人？”；張學良回答，“我一切聽中央政府的指令，我不該這麼做嗎？”在六四死難者的21周年悼念會的前夕，螢火蟲問阿華，“你為啥每年都要舉辦 ‘共產黨對六四學生大屠殺的死難者’悼念會，而從來不舉辦‘共產黨對Southern Mongolian、Uighurs、Tibetan、Yunnan People等大屠殺的死難者’悼念會？”；阿華回答，“為了維護漢人的大一統政權，共產黨能不殺異族嗎？為了取代共產黨的貪腐政權，我能不年年舉辦六四死難者悼念會嗎？”
螢火蟲氣憤地說，“《美國獨立宣言》（United States Declaration of Independence）說，‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that they are among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among them, deriving their just power from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.’，這些吃大紅龍毒奶水長大的所謂的漢人，他們如何能真正地了解與信仰這《宣言》裡的理念呢？”
