在邪惡淫亂的世代裡，自私對螢火蟲說，“我每天都有禱告，我每天都求耶和華給我這個，給我那個，我這還不夠虔誠嗎？”螢火蟲氣憤地說，“你的禱告，為什麼沒有‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.’(Matthew 6:9-10)的內涵呢？”
