在某古井底裏，有一群自認為是“中國人”與“人上人”(Gen 1:26-27)的蛙(Gen 3:15; John 8:44)在發表蛙論，魏源蛙拿著《海國圖志•敘》說，“是書何以作？曰：為以夷攻夷而作，為以夷款夷而作，為師夷長技以制夷而作。不是嗎？”馮桂芬蛙拿著《校邠盧抗議，卷下，采西學議》說，“如以中國之倫常名教為本源，輔以中國富強之術，不更善之善者哉。不是嗎？”；王韜蛙拿著《弢園尺牘，卷四，與周弢甫徵君》與《弢園文錄外編，卷十一，杞憂生易言跋》說，“形而上者中國也，以道勝；形而下者西人也，以器勝。如徒頌西人，而貶己所守，未窺為治之本源也……器則取諸西國，道則備自當躬。不是嗎？”
鄭觀應蛙拿著《盛世危言增訂新編一，卷二，西學》說，“中學其本也，西學其末也。不是嗎？”；陳熾蛙拿著《庸書內篇，卷上，學校》說，“廣儲經籍，延聘師儒，以正人心，以維風俗…並請洋師，兼攻西學，體用兼備。不是嗎？”
長慶蛙說，“說者謂中學為體，西學為用。不是嗎？”；張之洞拿著《勸學篇外篇，設學第三》說，“舊學為體新學為用。不是嗎？”
古井外，烏鴉說，“經上說，‘Now we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that have been kindly given us by God. These things we also speak, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by [the] spirit, as we combine spiritual [matters] with spiritual [words]. But a physical man does not receive the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot get to know [them], because they are examined spiritually. However, the spiritual man examines indeed all things, but he himself is not examined by any man. For who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, that he may instruct him?
