Hugo: 美國因為我而更偉大(小小說)

在巨型的會議廳裡，一群等待美國入籍宣誓的新移民正在談話，A說，「我們都是美國人，只是我們生錯了地方！」

B說，「我認同美國的精神，我認同美國的價值，我認同美國的理念！」

「美國的精神，就是Spirit of freedom，就是Spirit of Jesus，就是肯定Individualism與Liberalism的價值，就是肯定Individual freedom and Individual value creation，就是肯定Absolute moral、Absolute truth、Absolute beauty、Absolute good的理念，就是肯定All man are created equal、Democracy、Freedom、Human rights、Rule of law，就是肯定Loving your enemies as yourself、Loving your neighbor as yourself、Fighting for justice的理念，就是肯定People have the right to seek happiness and the right to life and the right to property and the right of freedom的理念，就是肯定All power from the people、People have the right for autonomy、People have the right to establish a Constitution、Human rights transcend sovereignty、Tripartite Separation of Powers (Separation of executive, legislative, and judicial powers)的理念，就是肯定Limited power of the government、Laissez-faire Capitalism、Laissez-faire economic system、Laissez-faire education的理念！」

C說，「我愛美國，美國是我的情人！」

D說，「我愛美國，美國是偉大的國家，美國也因為我而更偉大！」
