在永恆黑暗與虛無的中華文化蛇坑裡，胡適陀螺對一群蛇發表了《容忍與自由》演說，“…一切對異端的迫害，一切對異己的摧殘，一切宗教自由的禁止，一切思想言論的被壓迫，都由於這一點深信自己是不會錯的心理。因為深信自己是不會錯的，所以不能容忍任何和自己不同的思想信仰了。試看歐洲的宗教革新運動的歷史。馬丁路德(Martin Luther)和約翰高爾文(John Calvin)等人起來革新宗教，本來是因為他們不滿意於羅馬舊教的種種不容忍，種種不自由。但是新教在中歐北歐勝利之後，新教的領袖們又都漸漸走上了不容忍的路上去，也不容許別人起來批評他們的新教條了。高爾文在日內瓦掌握了宗教大權，居然會把一個敢獨立思想，敢批評高爾文的教條的學者塞維圖斯(Servetus)定了異端邪說的罪名，把他用鐵鏈鎖在木樁上，堆起柴來，慢慢的活燒死。這是一五五三年十月二十三日的事。這個殉道者塞維圖斯的慘史，最值得人們的追念和反省。宗教革新運動原來的目標是要爭取基督教的人的自由和良心的自由。何以高爾文和他的信徒們居然會把一位獨立思想的新教徒用慢慢的火燒死呢？何以高爾文的門徒(後來繼任高爾文為日內瓦的宗教獨裁者)柏時(deBeze) 竟會宣言良心的自由是魔鬼的教條呢? 基本的原因還是那一點深信我自己是不會錯的的心理。像高爾文那樣虔誠的宗教改革家，他自己深信他的良心確是代表上帝的命令，他的口和他的筆確是代表上帝的意志，那末他的意見還會錯嗎？他還有錯誤的可能嗎？在塞維圖斯被燒死之後，高爾文曾受到不少人的批評。一五五四年，高爾文發表一篇文字為他自己辯護，他毫不遲疑的說：‘嚴厲懲治邪說者的權威是無可疑的，因為這就是上帝自己說話。……這工作是為上帝的光榮戰鬥。’，上帝自己說話，還會錯嗎？為上帝的光榮作戰，還會錯嗎？這一點我不會錯的心理，就是一切不容忍的根苗。深信我自己的信念沒有錯誤的可能(infallible)，我的意見就是正義，反對我的人當然都是邪說了。我的意見代表上帝的意旨，反對我的人的意見當然都是魔鬼的教條了。這是宗教自由史給我們的教訓：容忍是一切自由的根本；沒有容忍"異己"的雅量，就不會承認異己的宗教信仰可以享受自由。但因為不容忍的態度是基於我的信念不會錯的心理習慣，所以容忍異己是最難得，最不容易養成的雅量。…” 天空中的飛鳥望著坑裡不斷在原地打轉的胡適陀螺說，“主耶穌基督說，‘The kingdom of the heavens has become like a man that sowed fine seed in his field. While men were sleeping, his enemy came and oversowed weeds in among the wheat, and left. When the blade sprouted and produced fruit, then the weeds appeared also. So the slaves of the householder came up and said to him, Master, did you not sow fine seed in your field? How, then, does it come to have weeds? He said to them, An enemy, a man, did this. They said to him, Do you want us, then, to go out and collect them? He said, No; that by no chance, while collecting the weeds, YOU uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the harvest season I will tell the reapers, First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up, then go to gathering the wheat into my storehouse.’(Matt 13:24-30)與‘Then after dismissing the crowds he went into the house. And his disciples came to him and said: Explain to us the illustration of the weeds in the field. In response he said: The sower of the fine seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; as for the fine seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; but the weeds are the sons of the wicked one, and the enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is a conclusion of a system of things, and the reapers are angels. Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out from his kingdom all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness, and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. There is where [their] weeping and the gnashing of [their] teeth will be. At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him that has ears listen.’(Matt 36-43)，主耶穌基督早已預告了教會裡會出現毒草(撒但、假先知、大淫婦、說謊者與殺人者)，主耶穌基督早已預告了如何面對這些教會裡的毒草，主耶穌基督會在世界末日消滅這些毒草，不是嗎？”
“《Holy Bible》說， ‘But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and fornicators and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.’(Rev 21:8)，殺人者(Gen 9:6; Exo 21:12-14; Deu 5:17; Matt 26:52; John 8:44; 1 John 3:15; Rev 21:8)是拒絕‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’者，殺人者是撒但的苗裔(John 8:44)，殺人者沒有永生存在他裡面(1 John 3:15)，殺人者將受火湖之刑，你必須相信耶和華的審判(2 Peter 3:9; Heb 11:6)而非親自動手殺人(Ps 1:2; Ps 5:6; Ps 5:10; Ps 7:11; Ps 11:1-7; Ps 18:1-2; Jer 17:5-8)，不是嗎？”
“《Holy Bible》說，‘Now Jehovah is the Spirit; and where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom.’(2 Cor 3:17)與‘Adulteresses, do YOU not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God. Or does it seem to YOU that the scripture says to no purpose: It is with a tendency to envy that the spirit which has taken up residence within us keeps longing? However, the undeserved kindness which he gives is greater. Hence it says: God opposes the haughty ones, but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones. Subject yourselves, therefore, to God; but oppose the Devil, and he will flee from YOU. Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU. Cleanse YOUR hands, YOU sinners, and purify YOUR hearts, YOU indecisive ones.’(James 4:4-8)，‘All Human Beings Are Created in the Image of God’(Gen 1:26-27)與‘Individual dignity, free will, life and individual rights are God-given, come from God, do not from anyone’，不是嗎？”
“主耶穌基督說，‘Why do you call me good？ Nobody is good, except one, God.’(Luke 18:19)；《Holy Bible》說， ‘There is not a righteous [man], not even one; there is no one that has any insight, there is no one that seeks for God. All [men] have deflected, all of them together have become worthless; there is no one that does kindness, there is not so much as one. Their throat is an opened grave, they have used deceit with their tongues.” “Poison of asps is behind their lips. And their mouth is full of cursing and bitter expression. Their feet are speedy to shed blood. Ruin and misery are in their ways, and they have not known the way of peace. There is no fear of God before their eyes.’(Rom 3:10-18)，有誰不是‘Sinner’(Rom 5:12)呢？有誰不需要‘Repent’(Mt 4:17)呢？有誰可以在《Holy Bible》外增加自己的亮點意見(Mt 16:6-12)呢？有誰能代表耶何華說話(Is 42:8)呢？你能相信任何一基督徒的話而不遵循‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’(1 John 4:8; 1 John 1:5; Mt 7:23; John 5:39-40)嗎？”
“主耶穌基督說，‘I am the light of the world. He that follows me will by no means walk in darkness, but will possess the light of life.’(John 8:12)與‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’(John 14:6)，如果你不藉由這‘Light’(Matt 24:14; Matt 28:18-20; John 8:12; John 1:4; 1 John 5:1; 1 John 2:8; Exo 19:18)與‘Truth’(John 14:6; John 8:32; John 6:35; Mat 24: 35; Gen 1:28; John 6:35-40; John 6:48–58)，你如何能了解啥是真黑暗與啥是真謊言？你如何能了解‘Light’絕不能容許黑暗(1 John 1:5; John 1:5)與‘Truth’絕不能容許謊言？你如何能了解真正的‘Liberty’(2 Cor 3:17; John 18:36; James 4:4; Rom 8:21; Gal 5:1-15; 1 Cor 7:22-23; John 8:32)？你如何能了解真正的‘Liberty’絕不能容許黑暗也絕不能容許謊言呢？”
