在中華文化的大糞坑裡(John 1:5)，有一群蛆在吃大糞，華腦殘蛆指著大糞對坑外的烏鴉說，“這黃金食物超美味，黃金食物萬歲萬歲萬萬歲！” 烏鴉說，“主耶穌基督說，‘I am the bread of life. He that comes to me will not get hungry at all, and he that exercises faith in me will never get thirsty at all.’(John 6:35)，你不肯吃這‘Bread’而卻還是要堅持吃這大糞嗎？”
