在“中華文化的叢林”裡，一隻受傷的豺狼對螢火蟲說，“這裡充滿了各種惡毒與吃人的豺狼，牠們的靈魂裡充滿了‘種族、血緣、崇祖、崇古、等級制、差序位格、專制、絕對忠、絕對孝(無違)、王權、皇帝、官民、奴民、親親相隱、崇名利權位、排斥與鄙視異族、中庸(無絕對道德原則與立場)、明哲保身、華夷之辨、華化主義、大一統主義、帝國主義、軍國主義’等病毒意識，充滿了‘權謀詭詐、假大空、厚黑學、坑矇拐騙、兇狠好鬥、不擇手段、勝者為王’等病毒意識，充滿了‘無靈魂、無道德、無邏輯、無抽象思考力、無創造力’等病毒文化；牠們缺乏‘All man are created equal, Spirit of Liberty’與‘Self-dignity, Self-integrity, Self-respect, Self-discipline, Self-control, Self-government, Self-responsibility, Self-protection, Self-defense, Self-directed morals, Self-enforced orientation’等理念；牠們踐踏‘Individual dignity, faith, hope, love, justice, morality, equality, human rights, liberty, freedom, joy, happiness, and peace’等理念；牠們製造了‘地溝油、毒疫苗、有毒食品、偽劣假貨與仿冒品、血鉛超標、豆腐渣工程、癌症村、愛滋病村、毒奶粉結石、三聚氰胺、黑煤窯童工、礦難、上訪遭毆打、暴力拆遷、活摘人體器官、生態污染、環境污染、水源污染、空氣污染、愚民教育、有權者殺人、有勢者迫害人’等問題，我已經被咬得遍體是傷了，我未來能有啥希望與幸福可言？” 螢火蟲氣憤地說，“經上說，‘For such freedom Christ set us free. Therefore stand fast, and do not let yourselves be confined again in a yoke of slavery.’(Gal 5:1)與‘But I say, Keep walking by spirit and YOU will carry out no fleshly desire at all. For the flesh is against the spirit in its desire, and the spirit against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, so that the very things that YOU would like to do YOU do not do. Furthermore, if YOU are being led by spirit, YOU are not under law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. Moreover, those who belong to Christ Jesus impaled the flesh together with its passions and desires. If we are living by spirit, let us go on walking orderly also by spirit. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought YOU to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, awaiting and keeping close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which [the] heavens being on fire will be dissolved and [the] elements being intensely hot will melt!
