在大紅龍的衙門前，上訪者萬喜良與孟姜女被拿警棍的公安追打與驅趕，一群過路的人竟然異常沉默與好奇地圍觀；被打得滿身是血的萬喜良與孟姜女萬般無奈地猛往郊區奔跑，他們順路地登上了長城，萬喜良流著淚感概地對孟姜女說，“這衙門裡的奴才全是壞人，這社會裡的人沒有義人，這長城裡圍的人也全是奴！咱們討不到說法了，咱們還是回家去，咱們還是回家去賣有毒食品，賣有毒食品好掙錢，賣有毒食品還可以給這個黑暗的社會一個說法，不是嗎？”；孟姜女也流著淚感概地說，“記得秦始皇也是因為吃了有毒的長生不老藥死的，咱們除了賣有毒食品之外，還有啥更好的辦法來推倒這欺壓與奴役人的長城？”
螢火蟲氣憤地說，“經上說，‘There is not a righteous [man], not even one; there is no one that has any insight, there is no one that seeks for God. All [men] have deflected, all of them together have become worthless; there is no one that does kindness, there is not so much as one. Their throat is an opened grave, they have used deceit with their tongues. Poison of asps is behind their lips. And their mouth is full of cursing and bitter expression. Their feet are speedy to shed blood. Ruin and misery are in their ways, and they have not known the way of peace.
