在埋人的流沙坑旁，有兩隻青蛙正在聆聽“風中奇緣”的美妙音樂，聽完了音樂後，越南蛙搖頭嘆氣地對東亞大陸蛙說，“我努力抄了《美國獨立宣言》，然後寫成《越南獨立宣言》之歌，結果怎麼唱都唱不出‘Spirit of Liberty’的韻味，這是咱回事？”；東亞大陸蛙回道，“那麼我也來抄一下《美國獨立宣言》，然後寫《東亞大陸獨立宣言》之歌，看看我是否可以唱出‘Spirit of Liberty’的韻味？”螢火蟲望著遠方不斷飄離的落葉十分肯定地說，“經上說，‘I will say to Jehovah: [You are] my refuge and my stronghold, My God, in whom I will trust.’(Ps 91:2) ；主耶穌基督說，‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this, You must love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.’(Matthew 22:37-40)，如果你將‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’的信仰從《美國獨立宣言》裡抽離去，那麼這《獨立宣言》不就會變成一具無用的乾屍了嗎？”
