在大羅網前，屈原鳥對螢火蟲說，“《聖經》說，‘Anyone dwelling in the secret place of the Most High Will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the Almighty One. I will say to Jehovah: [You are] my refuge and my stronghold,My God, in whom I will trust. For he himself will deliver you from the trap of the birdcatcher, From the pestilence causing adversities.’(Psalms 91:1-3)、‘and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.’(2 Timothy 2:26)，那麼什麼是‘羅網’？如何才能擺脫這‘羅網’呢？”螢火蟲提出了意見，“所謂的‘羅網’，就是撒但誘捕人出賣靈魂與促使人道德墮落的工具，它就是‘擴大人類追求名利權位、榮華富貴、食色財氣的慾望’(Matthew 4:3-9)，它就是‘Pride、Greed、Lust、Envy、Gluttony、Wrath、Sloth’的罪(Seven Deadly Sins)；《聖經》說，‘Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth’(2 Timothy 2:22-25)，這不就是人類擺脫‘羅網’的方法嗎？”
