在黑暗的東亞大陸地獄裡，受難者竇娥對螢火蟲說，“如果‘Man and woman were made in the image of God’ (Genesis1:26-27)，那麼人類怎麼會有那麼多罪惡的事情？”螢火蟲不同意地說，“由於‘All men and woman are created equal’，因此每一個人都有相同本質的良心（Holy Spirit）與‘Free will’；但是，當人蒙蔽了良心，人就會遠離了‘The image of God’，人就會忘記了‘Self-dignity, Self-integrity, Self-dependent, Self-respect, Self-government, Self-control, Self-responsibility , self-directed moral beliefs’，人就會違反‘God's Commandments’（The Ten Commandments）而行使‘Free will’，人就會濫用‘Free will’，人就會被魔鬼綁架，人就會走入黑暗，人就會做惡與犯罪（Sins and Crimes），人就必須為自己的罪(Sins and Crimes)負責任，人就必須接受罪(Sins and Crimes)的懲罰，不是嗎？”
