Furthermore, I said, Never shall I break my covenant with YOU. And for YOUR part, YOU must not conclude a covenant with the inhabitants of this land. Their altars YOU should pull down. But YOU have not listened to my voice. Why have YOU done this? So I, in turn, have said, I shall not drive them away from before YOU, and they must become snares to YOU, and their gods will serve as a lure to YOU.’(Judges 2:1-3)，人類的苦難來自於人類背棄耶和華的誡命(Gen 3:1-19)，人類持續性的苦難來自於人類持續性地背棄耶和華的誡命(1 John 5:19; Rev 12:9; Ecc 4:1-9; Ecc 9:11; Jer 10:23; Is 55:8-9; John 4:23)，人類只要接受‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’(John 8:12; John 14:6 ; Mt 4:10；Mt 22:36-40; Is 42:8; Exo 20:2-17; Deu 5:6-21)就能終結人類的苦難，你不知道嗎？”
