在黑暗的佛教圈裏，藏紅花舉著“抗議華共政權對藏區的高壓統治，要求讓西藏流亡精神領袖達賴喇嘛返回西藏”旗幟一邊在進行自焚一邊在唸《瑜伽師地論卷第三十九》(本地分中菩薩地第十五初持瑜伽處施品第九)經，“復次菩薩次第圓滿六波羅蜜多已。能證無上正等菩提。謂施波羅蜜多。戒波羅蜜多。忍波羅蜜多。精進波羅蜜多。靜慮波羅蜜多。慧波羅蜜多。云何菩薩施波羅蜜多。嗢拕南曰。自性一切難。一切門善士。一切種遂求。二世樂清淨。如是九種相。是名略說施。謂九種相施名為菩薩施波羅蜜多。一自性施。二一切施。三難行施。四一切門施。五善士施。六一切種施。七遂求施。八此世他世樂施。九清淨施。云何菩薩自性施。謂諸菩薩於自身財無所顧惜。能施一切所應施物。無貪俱生思。及因此所發。能施一切無罪施物。身語二業安住律儀阿笈摩見定有果見。隨所希求即以此物而行惠施。當知是名菩薩自性施。云何菩薩一切施。謂一切者略有二種。一內所施物。二外所施物。若諸菩薩但捨己身。”
微風對自焚者說，“你為啥要為地上的王(Ps 146:3-4; Jn 12:31; Jn 14:30; Jn 16:11; 1 Jn 5:19; Mt 4:8-10; Mt 6:9-10)與虛無的價值(Ps 146:6; Ex 20:3-6; Is 42:8; Ecc 1:1-18; Ecc 2:11; Jer 10:12-15; Col 2:23)而死呢？”
