Jesus brings eternal life to his followers
In these last days, humanity faces many religious ideas and spiritual voices. Therefore, people must discern according to the truth and must not judge the identity of God solely by human wisdom, morality, or religious achievements.
Throughout history, many religious leaders have taught people to seek goodness, beauty, and truth. However, the Bible reveals that only Jesus Christ has revealed the nature of God and demonstrated the power of creation, life, resurrection, and salvation. Therefore, humanity must return to the Word of God and seek the true way and eternal life.
In these last days, some people will say, “All religions encourage people to do good. They are all good, and they are all the same.” However, the gospel proclaimed by Jesus is the truth, not a man-made religion. How could the truth proclaimed by Jesus possibly be the same as all human-made religions?
Others will say that “Jesus who proclaimed the truth, the ancient Vedic sages of Hinduism, the founder of Buddhism Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Islam Muhammad, the founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak, the founder of Jainism Mahavira, the founder of the Bahá’í Faith Bahá’u’lláh, the founder of Zoroastrianism Zoroaster, the founder of Taoism Laozi, and the founder of Confucianism Confucius” are all good people who simply taught others to do good.
However, Jesus is the Creator, while all the individuals mentioned above are created beings. How could the thoughts and ways of the Creator and those of created beings possibly be the same?
Then who is the only true source of truth, and who represents the lies of the devil? Who is the one true God, and who belongs to the realm of false gods, false prophets, false teachers, false wise men, false righteous people, false worshipers, false angels of light, false Christs, and deceiving spirits?
What is the essential difference between Jesus and all the individuals mentioned above? Is it possible for humanity to truly understand the great distinction between the Creator and His creation?
1. Jesus Has the Power to Raise the Dead
John 11:43–44
When He had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
From this passage, we understand that Jesus has authority over death and the power to raise the dead.
2. Jesus Rose from the Dead by His Own Power
Matthew 17:22–23
“The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.” And the disciples were filled with grief.
John 11:25–26
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus not only raised others from death but also conquered death through His own resurrection.
3. Jesus Is the Creator
John 1:1–3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
Colossians 1:15–17
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Hebrews 1:8–10
But about the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has set You above Your companions by anointing You with the oil of joy.” He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.”
John 10:30
Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.”
Matthew 28:17
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
The Bible teaches that the Father is the Creator, and the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is also the Creator. The God who created the universe came into the world through Jesus Christ in human form to accomplish salvation.
Jesus participated in the creation of all things. The universe and everything in it were created through Him and exist for Him. Jesus declared that He and the Father are one.
4. Jesus Is the Only Way, the Truth, and the Life
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
5. Jesus brings eternal life to his followers
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever continues to believe in Him should not perish but continue to have eternal life.
John 14:23
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them.”
Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who continually does the will of My Father who is in heaven.”
According to the Bible, angels and human beings are not to receive worship, yet Jesus accepted worship from His disciples. This reveals His unique identity and divine authority.
Conclusion
According to the revelation of Scripture, Jesus Christ is not merely a great teacher, prophet, or moral example. He is the Son of God, the Word who became flesh, the Lord who created all things, governs life, and conquered death.
Although other religious figures may possess wisdom, virtue, or religious influence, they remain created human beings. Only Jesus has the authority to raise the dead, the power to rise from death Himself, and the ability to grant eternal life to those who believe in Him.
In this end-time generation, people must humbly seek the truth, discern the spirits, obey the will of God, and receive the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. Only in Him can humanity receive true life and prepare to enter the eternal kingdom of God.
