鴨綠江上飄著無數逃亡者的浮屍，江邊的老樹上有兩隻老鳥正在對話，丹東鳥悲苦地指著江上的浮屍對新義州鳥說，“這些人想從一個黑暗的世界逃到另一個黑暗的世界嗎？”；新義州鳥哭著說，“苦難的盡頭是啥呢？”螢火蟲望著遠方的光肯定地說，“經上說，‘I will say to Jehovah: [You are] my refuge and my stronghold, My God, in whom I will trust.’(Ps 91:2)與‘Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to YOU. For everyone asking receives, and everyone seeking finds, and to everyone knocking it will be opened.’(Mt 7:7-8)，如果人肯認真地在心中栽種‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’的信仰，那麼苦難的盡頭就會結出‘Light, Love, Hope, Joy and Happiness’等果實；如果人不肯在心中栽種‘Jehovah's commandments and Jesus' gospel’的信仰，那麼苦難的盡頭就會結出‘黑暗、仇恨、絕望、死亡與苦難’等惡果，不是嗎？”
