在漢文化的座談會上，熊貓一問螢火蟲說，“為什麼漢文化裡有‘親親相隱’(孔子主張，‘父爲子隱，子爲父隱’)與‘非我族類，其心必異’(《左傳•成公四年》：“史佚之《志》有之曰：‘非我族類，其心必異。’，楚雖大，非吾族也，其肯字我乎？”；《晉書•江統傳》：“非我族類，其心必異，戎狄志態，不與華同。”)的概念？”；螢火蟲氣憤地說，“那不就是漢文化的‘血緣意識’？”熊貓二問螢火蟲說，“為什麼漢文化裡有‘崇老崇長崇輩分’與‘三綱五常’的概念？為什麼漢文化裡有‘伯、嬸、叔、舅、嫂、媳、姑、姨、表、堂、外、姪、甥’等的概念？”；螢火蟲氣憤地說，“那不就是漢文化的‘等級意識’？”
熊貓三問螢火蟲說，“為什麼漢文化裡有‘一隻、一條、一頭、一匹、一尾、一首、一口、一家、一朵、一幢、一間、一架、一艘、一部、一場、一輛、一幫、一包、一套、一打、一套、一粒、一卷、一株、一枚、一把、一塊、一個、一群、一架、一對、一副、一列、一顆’等的概念？”；螢火蟲氣憤地說，“那不就是漢文化的‘集體化所有存有的意識’？”
“這些概念，不就是反‘Individualism, Liberalism, Freeman, Spirit of Liberty, Self-dignity, Self-integrity, Self-dependent, Self-respect, Self-confidence, Self-government, Self-control, Self-responsibility, Self-defense, Self-creativity, Self-joy, Self-happiness, Self-directed morals, Self-enforced orientation’、‘All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that they are among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’與‘Individual dignity, love, freedom, justice, liberty, and human rights’等理念的概念？”
